Privacy & member controls

The verified family tree is public read-only, but public profiles show only the approved name, portrait and safe broad location. Verified members can view the normal family profile with birth year only; full date of birth is limited to authorised relationship or role access. Government identity details are never public.

Your controls

• Request access or an export of your account records
• Request correction of inaccurate account information
• Submit restriction or deletion requests for review
• Guardian consent for a minor's social participation

Genealogy deletion requests may require separate review because a family-history record can also be evidence about other people and established lineage.
